  1. Between Users: Communication and Information Sharing
    • Service Requests: When a user posts a service request on mobilemechanic.pro, essential details such as their street address and vehicle information are made visible only to Mobile Mechanics within a 15-mile radius. This targeted visibility enables Mobile Mechanics to assess the service needs and location feasibility accurately, allowing them to provide accurate responses and service estimates. To enhance privacy and data protection, we retain the details of service requests for a limited period of 7 days only. After this period, all personal information related to the service requests is automatically deleted from our system. This approach ensures that service requests are efficiently matched with nearby Mobile Mechanics, enhancing service provision and response times, while also respecting our users privacy and data protection concerns.
    • Appointment Requests: Upon a user requesting an appointment, their name, street address, and vehicle information are shared with the selected Mobile Mechanic. This information is critical for the Mobile Mechanic to prepare for the service appointment, ensuring they understand the service location and specific vehicle needs. To provide convenience and facilitate any follow-up services or inquiries, we retain this information for a period of 365 days. After this period, all personal information related to the appointment request is systematically purged from our records. This policy is designed to balance the convenience of our users with our commitment to privacy and data protection.
    • Messages: In instances of reported disputes or concerns, we may facilitate the review of relevant information, including messages between users, to uphold our service standards. All messages on mobilemechanic.pro are retained for a period of 180 days, primarily for user convenience and to ensure we have the necessary information to address any issues effectively. This review process is conducted with respect for user privacy, ensuring that reviews are limited to what is necessary for dispute resolution and maintaining platform integrity. Users are recommended to keep their communications within mobilemechanic.pro and are advised to be respectful and avoid sharing sensitive information through messages.
    • Payment Requests: To streamline payments, mobile mechanics can send PayPal.Me links to customers. These transactions are processed directly between customers and mobile mechanics via PayPal. Although mobilemechanic.pro does not process these transactions, we retain the PayPal.Me handles to support the functionality of our payment request feature. By using this payment method, users agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and PayPal’s terms of service.

      • Analytics Services: GA4 (Google Analytics 4) helps us analyze website traffic and improve our services by understanding user interactions with mobilemechanic.pro.
