We enable users to exchange information and service requests between those looking for mobile auto repair services (Customers) and independent mobile mechanics (“Mobile Mechanics”). It’s important to note that we do not directly offer auto repair services. Our platform facilitates direct communication between Customers and Mobile Mechanics, leading to competitive pricing through direct interaction.
User Responsibilities
Customers and Mobile Mechanics are solely responsible for their interactions, communications, and agreements. We do not endorse or guarantee the qualifications, reliability, or quality of services offered by Mobile Mechanics. Customers are advised to exercise due diligence when selecting a Mobile Mechanic and to verify licensing, insurance, and any other relevant credentials. To further clarify the scope of our platform’s role in user interactions, we outline our approach to dispute resolution below.
Dispute Resolution
While mobilemechanic.pro facilitates connections between Customers and Mobile Mechanics, it is important for users to understand that we do not directly intervene in disputes arising from services rendered or communications between parties. Our platform encourages transparency and open communication through a review system that allows customers to leave feedback about their experiences.
- User Responsibility: It is the responsibility of Customers and Mobile Mechanics to resolve any disputes among themselves. We recommend that users attempt to resolve any issues through direct communication or mediation where possible.
- Platform Role: In cases of disputes or unsatisfactory services, customers are encouraged to use our review system to leave honest feedback. Although mobilemechanic.pro does not intervene in disputes, we monitor feedback and reports closely. Consistent negative reviews or unresolved disputes involving a Mobile Mechanic may lead to the flagging and removal of their profile from the platform to maintain service quality and integrity. - Reporting Issues: Users can report specific issues or concerns via our contact page. While we provide a platform for feedback and reports, direct resolution of disputes is beyond our scope. Our primary aim is to ensure a trustworthy environment by monitoring user feedback and maintaining high service standards.
By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree that mobilemechanic.pro’s role is limited to facilitating services and providing a platform for feedback and communication. You understand that any legal recourse for disputes lies between the Customer and the Mobile Mechanic directly, and not with mobilemechanic.pro.
Mobile Mechanic Performance Standards and Accountability
In our commitment to maintaining high service standards, we have implemented specific performance criteria for Mobile Mechanics. This includes maintaining an average rating above 2.5 stars. If a Mobile Mechanic’s rating falls to 2.5 stars or below and remains at this level for a continuous period of 90 days, their profile will automatically be flagged for review and removed from the platform. Additionally, Mobile Mechanics are expected to confirm or decline appointment requests in a timely manner. For appointments requested more than 24 hours in advance, a cancellation notice will be sent for unconfirmed appointments 12 hours before the scheduled start time. For last-minute appointments made less than 24 hours before the intended start time, a cancellation notice will be issued 2 hours prior. Failing to confirm or decline five appointments within a 90-day period will result in the Mobile Mechanic’s profile automatically being flagged and removed from the platform. Mobile Mechanics with flagged accounts due to non-compliance can appeal the decision by contacting us via our contact page.
Responsibilities and Compliance for Mobile Mechanics
As a Mobile Mechanic registered on mobilemechanic.pro, you affirm that all information provided in your profile and to Customers is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge. This includes personal details, qualifications, experience, and services offered. Regular updates to your profile are mandatory to reflect any changes in your qualifications or services. You are also required to adhere to our performance standards related to customer ratings and appointment confirmations. Non-compliance with these standards may result in the alteration of your account status as outlined above.
In addition, you are responsible for ensuring full compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations applicable to automotive repair and maintenance. This includes business licensing, insurance requirements, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. Misrepresentation or non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of your account, as well as potential legal action.
mobilemechanic.pro may conduct periodic verifications of your information, including qualifications and compliance status. You agree to cooperate with such verification processes. User feedback and the quality of services rendered will be subject to review and may impact your profile standing.
By registering, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless mobilemechanic.pro and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your provision of inaccurate information or from non-compliance with laws and regulations.
Your privacy is important to us. Information provided will be used in accordance with our privacy policy, adhering to data protection laws.
Appointments and Scheduling
Mobile Mechanics and Customers are responsible for scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments made through the platform. It’s expected that both parties communicate clearly and in a timely manner regarding any changes or updates to scheduled appointments. mobilemechanic.pro is not responsible for any missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations. Any specific terms or penalties related to missed appointments, cancellations, or rescheduling should be mutually agreed upon between the Customer and the Mobile Mechanic.
Payment Requests
Our platform enables Mobile Mechanics to directly request payments from Customers by emailing PayPal.Me links for services rendered. It’s important to understand that we do not mediate these transactions; instead, they are directly managed and processed through PayPal, ensuring security and adherence to PayPal’s privacy protections. This approach allows for a straightforward payment process, with all financial transactions occurring directly between the Mobile Mechanic and the Customer via PayPal.
Users are responsible for their transactions, adhering to PayPal’s Terms of Service.
Any disputes arising from payments made through PayPal.Me links should be resolved directly with PayPal.
Information on Mobile Mechanic Profiles
Mobile Mechanics who wish to be listed on our platform are required to verify that the information they provide is accurate and truthful to the best of their knowledge, and that they operate in compliance with the regulations of their local jurisdiction or municipality. This process is a crucial step during registration.
It’s important to note that the data displayed on Mobile Mechanic profiles is based solely on the details submitted by the Mobile Mechanics themselves. We do not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of this information. While we make every effort to present reliable and current data, mobilemechanic.pro cannot guarantee the accuracy or quality of the services offered by the listed Mobile Mechanics. We encourage users to conduct their own thorough assessment and confirm the credentials and qualifications of Mobile Mechanics before engaging their services.
Mobile Mechanics with ASE certifications can upload certification images for verification. Verified ASE certifications earn a badge on the mechanic’s profile, indicating their status as ASE Certified, Master ASE Certified, or an Advanced Engine Performance Specialist.
Should any inaccuracies or fraudulent information be identified in Mobile Mechanic profiles, we kindly ask users to notify us through our contact page. This allows us to take the necessary actions to address the situation appropriately.
Service Listing Management and Duration
Our platform is designed to provide Mobile Mechanics with a seamless and effective way to manage their service offerings. Each Mobile Mechanic has the opportunity to create up to 15 individual service listings. These service listings remain active on the platform and are subject to the Mobile Mechanic’s discretion for removal, ensuring an up-to-date and accurate representation of their services without the constraints of fixed expiration and renewal timelines.
Upon submission, service listings will enter a pending state, awaiting review. mobilemechanic.pro will evaluate each service listing to ensure it adheres to our service listing guidelines. Once approved, service listings will be published and become visible on the platform. This review process is crucial in maintaining the quality and reliability of the information available to our users.
Mobile Mechanics have the flexibility to hide, modify, update, or delete their listings at any time through the user Service Listings page. We encourage Mobile Mechanics to regularly review and update their service listings to maintain accuracy and effectiveness in showcasing their services. This continuous engagement helps in presenting their services in the best light and aligns with our commitment to maintaining a high standard of service listings on our platform.
Mobile Mechanic Premium Features
Our platform offers a range of premium features designed to enhance visibility and customer engagement for mobile mechanics. These features are available through one-time payment plans with no recurring charges and include:
- Unlimited Access to Send Estimates: Engage more directly with potential customers by sending estimates in response to Service Requests within a 15-mile radius, enhancing your visibility and business opportunities.
- Scheduled Phone Call Button on Your Profile: Make it easier for customers to reach you with a call button on your profile, available only during your business hours, facilitating direct and convenient communication.
- Service Listing Statistics: Gain valuable insights with the ability to view and analyze important statistics for each of your service listings, helping you optimize performance and engagement.
- Expand Your Service Listings: Enhance your online presence by listing up to 25 services on our SEO optimized platform, showcasing your skills and attracting a diverse customer base.
- Featured Listings: Increase your service listing’s visibility even further with Featured Listings. This premium feature places your listings at the top of relevant search results and category pages, and adds a featured badge and blue border, ensuring that your services are among the first seen by potential customers. Featured Listings are a powerful way to stand out and attract more business.
Premium Plan Pricing and Terms: All plans are available through a one-time payment; no recurring charges, offering simplicity and transparency in accessing our premium features.
No Refunds on One-Time Payments: All purchases are final and non-refundable. This policy ensures that we can continually invest in providing a quality service and expanding the opportunities available to all our users.
Investing in Community Growth: Opting for premium features plays a crucial role in funding marketing efforts and supporting community growth. By investing in these features, you’re not only elevating your own business prospects but also contributing to a broader ecosystem that benefits all mobile mechanics on our platform. It’s a cycle of support and growth — your success helps fuel the community, and the community’s growth, in turn, opens up new opportunities for you. By selecting and purchasing a plan, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
mobilemechanic.pro does not assume any responsibility or provide any guarantees for the work performed by Mobile Mechanics or the outcome of any services or contracts arranged between Customers and Mobile Mechanics. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided by Mobile Mechanics or the suitability of their services for any particular purpose.
By using our platform, users acknowledge that mobilemechanic.pro, its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform or the services provided by Mobile Mechanics.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials on mobilemechanic.pro, including but not limited to logos, text, graphics, images, and software, are the exclusive property of mobilemechanic.pro and are safeguarded by intellectual property laws. Users are prohibited from reproducing, modifying, distributing, or using our intellectual property without obtaining prior written consent.
